Sergio Agüero will hang the boots and leave professional football forever. He only played 5 games with the Catalan club and managed to score once, but he suffered and arrhythmia and now he will have to be sidelined.
His arrhythmia was detected on October 30, on Barcelona's game against Alavés. During this fixture, Kun Agüero had chest pain after a crash in the area around the 38' minute, and a few minutes later he was subbed off for Phillipe Coutinho.
After being subbed off Sergio Agüero was rushed to the hospital and got tests to detect his problems. The arrhythmia was detected during the test procedure and the club announced his problem.
What is arrhythmia?
An arrhythmia is an irregular heartbeat, so a person that suffers from this condition has a heartbeat going either too fast or too slow. Some people are immune to the symptoms of this disease, but other people experience shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, sweating, anxiety, light-headedness, and chest pain.
Arrhythmias can be caused by several reasons such as:
