Tottenham Hotspur has been hit by a massive Covid - 19 outbreak previous to their Europa Conference League game against Rennes. The Spurs will face the French squad in England this Thursday and there are eight positives detected.

The club hasn't revealed who has caught the virus and the whole squad will have to take a second test, all the positive cases will have to quarantine for 10 days.

UEFA will keep the game on for now, because according to their regulations if the team has 13 players or more including the goalkeeper the fixture will still happen. Tottenham is forced to gain points in this game in order to qualify to the next Conference League stage.

If the squad reaches the number of positives in order to postpone the game the fixture will still be played before the end of the year.

Conte's players that have tested positive will also be forced to miss the fixture against Brighton and Leicester for the League.
